Consumer Prices—Including Those For Food—Surged In June As Worries About “Sticky” Inflation Mount

The Consumer Price Index rose 0.9% month-over-month and the index for all items is 5.4% higher than a year ago, seasonally unadjusted, according to the latest data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
