Consumer Prices Continue To Soar; Retail Food-Price Gains Outpacing Menu Prices

Energy- and food-price increases pushed the Consumer Price Index to 7.9% for the past 12 months in February, the largest gain since January 1982, according to the latest data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
